World Vision Burundi Impact Report 2025

It is with immense pleasure that we present to you our Impact Report for 2025 which covers our work and impact from October 1st, 2024, to September 30th, 2025. In that period, World Vision walked alongside children and families, witnessing meaningful change take root through community-driver interventions.

As households began embracing new ways of thinking and acting---choices that laid the foundation for healthier and more hopeful futures, children began to eat better and sleep more peacefully.

Lives were saved as thousands of children accessed timely healthcare services. At the same time, improved water brought clean, safe drinking water closer to homes, easing the burden on mothers and children who previously walked long distances to unsafe sources.

Amid the gains, Burundi faced a humanitarian pressure with an influx of Congolese refugees in 2025. World Vision responded with immediate assistance made possible by generous donor support.

We are grateful to all who contributed to these efforts and look forward to continuing our shared mission in 2026-bringing lasting and positive change to children and their families.
