With over 60 years of experience in development and humanitarian work, World Vision Development Foundation in the Philippines is a full-council member of the National Disaster Risk Management Council and a co-convenor of the DRRNet Philippines. We work with local government units, schools, and duty bearers to contribute towards resilient of households and communities. As a child-focused organization, we have been able to influence national policies such as Children’s Emergency Relief and Protection Act).

2. Empower children as actors in their disaster preparedness and reduction

3. Catalyse the unique and essential contribution of faith-based communities, formal and informal actors in harnessing collective and dynamic disaster resilient communities
