Working with Partners Policy
Download
This policy sets out World Vision’s approach to working with partners to achieve sustained child well‑being, grounded in the organisation’s core value of partnership. It defines partnerships as voluntary, collaborative relationships based on shared purpose, mutual benefit, and shared responsibility, and applies to all World Vision entities and contexts where formal partnership agreements exist.
The policy explains why partnership is essential to addressing complex humanitarian, development, and peace‑building challenges, with a strong emphasis on equitable partnerships with local actors. It outlines guiding principles for effective partnership across the full partnership lifecycle, including transparency, equity, mutual accountability, and proactive risk management, and provides a consistent framework for ethical, effective, and locally led collaboration aligned with World Vision’s mission and global commitments.
