In response to the humanitarian impacts of the Cambodia–Thailand border conflict, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), in partnership with World Vision International in Cambodia, has provided lifesaving psychosocial support and cash assistance to thousands of internally displaced families in Preah Vihear and Oddar Meanchey provinces. More than 14,470 displaced people—mostly women and children—received psychosocial care to help address trauma, distress, and uncertainty caused by displacement. Additionally, 1,300 vulnerable families received multi‑purpose cash assistance, allowing them to meet urgent needs such as food, healthcare, and shelter while restoring dignity and choice.
