Situation Report I Period 1 December 2025 – 31 January FY26

During the reporting period, World Vision Afghanistan reached 450,542 people through integrated humanitarian and recovery programmes across health, nutrition, WASH, food security, livelihoods, protection, education, and emergency response.

201,977 people accessed essential health and nutrition services through health facilities, mobile teams, and Family Health Houses, including outpatient care, maternal and child health services, immunisation, nutrition screening, treatment, and counselling.

23,106 people gained improved access to safe water through newly constructed and rehabilitated water systems, while WASH improvements were completed in 18 healthcare facilities to strengthen sanitation, handwashing, and waste management.

7,274 individuals received mental health and psychosocial support, and 4,773 people participated in hygiene promotion activities to encourage healthy practices.

Through food security and livelihoods interventions, vulnerable households received cash assistance, food support, agricultural inputs, livestock services, and business development opportunities to strengthen resilience and improve household wellbeing.

World Vision also continued emergency assistance for returnees and earthquake-affected communities, delivering integrated health, nutrition, WASH, protection, food, and cash support to those most in need.
