Day of the African Child 2026: Every Child Deserves Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene

As Zimbabwe joins the rest of Africa in commemorating the Day of the African Child 2026, the Joining Forces Coalition in Zimbabwe (JFCZ) is calling for accelerated action to ensure every child has access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene, while also strengthening investments in child protection, quality education and healthcare. The coalition urges government, development partners and all stakeholders to place children at the centre of national planning and budgeting processes to ensure that no child is left behind.
