Gender & Youth Participation Resources
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in these curated resources shared as part of the World Vision engagement at Women Deliver 2026. This folder brings together a select set of research, evidence, and practice‑based resources from World Vision and partners (including Plan International), with a focus on girls, gender equality, and meaningful child and youth participation, particularly from Asia and the Pacific.
What’s Inside
State of Girls
Girls Leadership Index –
A data‑driven index measuring opportunities for adolescent girls and young women to develop and demonstrate leadership across 19 South and Southeast Asian countries and 14 Pacific Island countries and territories.
Real Choices, Real Lives –
The culmination of 18 years of girl‑centred research following girls’ lived experiences from childhood to adulthood across 10 countries. While Pacific countries were not included, the insights into how girls’ choices narrow during adolescence are deeply relevant and compelling.
Children & Youth Participation
Young Minds Shaping Climate Action & Disaster Mitigation –
A child‑led study developed by young people aged 12–18 engaged in World Vision East Asia’s Young Minds CAMP, highlighting how children understand risks and propose solutions for climate and disaster resilience.
Gender Equality & Social Norms
Resources on gender analysis, social norm change, and family‑ and faith‑based approaches, including:
Transforming Women and Girls’ Nutrition
Male Engagement for Gender Equality – A GEDSI promising practice from World Vision Bangladesh, documenting how engaging men and boys supports women’s empowerment and community wellbeing.
Empowered Women, Empowered Children – Research demonstrating the direct links between women’s empowerment and children’s wellbeing across multiple contexts.
Pacific‑Focused Evidence & Practice
