Child-led research for social change

Patricio Cuevas-Parra, Director, Child Participation and Rights, World Vision, discusses growing evidence suggest that child-led research provides promising opportunities to engage children and young people in shaping policies and practices. Child-led research is thus often premised on the particular expertise children and young people can bring to the research process, based on their own experiences and the potential for understanding their peers’ experiences.
