DR Congo: Internally Displaced Persons, Mostly Children More Exposed to Mpox Following Overcrowding In Camps In The East of The Country
This article shows how children are most at risk of contracting Mpox, especially those living in IDP camps in eastern DRC. Overcrowding and the failure to observe barrier measures in the camps are major factors in the spread of this disease. But parents who have been made aware of the situation have taken steps to protect their families by implementing barrier measures.
