MOZAMBIQUE Dedicates Postage Stamp to ENOUGH Campaign

Bearing the words ‘Já CHEGA’, the name in Portuguese of World Vision’s Global Campaign ENOUGH, the postage stamp serves as a creative reminder that ending child malnutrition is everyone’s business. Against bright colours in the background, the photo of a smiling girl symbolizes hope and faith.
“Hope of a future where no child goes to bed hungry: and faith that there will be enough will to make it so”, says Leovigildo Nhampule, the organization’s Communications and Advocacy Manager in Mozambique, where 37% of children still suffer from malnutrition. He adds that Mozambique’s ENOUGH postage stamp is one of an array of ongoing initiatives aimed at “getting people to ask questions, the main of which is 'Am I doing enough”.
Mozambique stamp company, Corre, is among those playing its role to do something of "Enough" for children, as it applies a 10 per cent discount on every stamp issued on behalf of World Vision, carrying the hope of life in its fullness for every child.
Around 2.6 million vulnerable children are expected to be impacted by World Vision’s ENOUGH Campaign in Mozambique, are campaign endorsed by key influential individuals, among them the former Mozambican Minister of Health, presently Ambassador of the campaign, Nazira Abdula.
“Já CHEGA” aims to contribute towards policies, allocation of public and private resources, and community-level practices that will allow every child to have access to enough nutritious food.
