Supporting quality education in exceptional times

Thursday, July 16, 2020

Students, their parents, and educators around the world are feeling the extraordinary wave of the novel coronavirus as schools have closed and people are in quarantine to cope with the global pandemic. While the Government and health officials are doing their best to slow down the outbreak, World Vision is collaborating with the Ministry of Education and the Teaching Service Commission in Sierra Leone to respond and provide quality education for children during these difficult times. As a child-focused organization, we are providing support to government structures to help deliver quality education through a radio teaching programme in these exceptional times.
