Snow brings misery for Syrian refugees in Lebanon

Monday, January 4, 2016

Fresh snow blankets the Bekka Valley, home to many of the 1.4 million Syrian refugees currently living in Lebanon. Instead of being a beautiful or peaceful experience for Syrian refugee families living in informal tented settlements or unfinished buildings, snow brings misery and complicates their difficult struggle for survival.

World Vision is helping families prepare for the winter conditions, but many families are concerned that they won't be able to keep their stoves burning, their families warm or their tents up if the cold temperatures persist.

Please support World Vision's winterization efforts for Syrian refugees.
