Cities for Children: Cambodia Land Rights Program

Saturday, August 1, 2015

World Vision Cambodia's Urban Pilot Project promoted community awareness about land-tenure security and Cambodian housing rights. It engaged city authorities in a dialogue with marginalised communities to advocate for inclusion and pro-poor policies.

This short documentary outlines the importance of tenure security for vulnerable communities of Phnom Penh who are excluded from the government’s land mapping program and are under the threat of eviction. It also provides an overview of World Vision's work in strengthening community structures and capacity, alongside partners, to facilitate effective dialogue between the community and local authorities.
