Policy Analysis and Advocacy: Integrated Package of Essential and Accelerator Services for Children | Global and Country Policy Briefs

World Vision International, in collaboration with its Field Offices in Mali, Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique, Lebanon, Indonesia, and the Philippines, has developed a policy framework to strengthen national advocacy for an Integrated Package of Essential and Accelerator Services for Children. The initiative responds to the deepening child well-being crisis driven by the global polycrisis, climate change, economic instability, and the aftershocks of COVID-19. It engages governments and donors to rethink how essential services are financed, coordinated, and delivered to ensure no child is left behind.

Through comprehensive policy and systems analysis, the initiative examines the situation of children, service delivery gaps, and existing policies, and co-creates tailored policy propositions with national stakeholders. Its goal is to help governments build on existing social protection and cash transfer programmes, integrating essential and accelerator services in health, nutrition, education, child protection, and mental health. By advancing an integrated and evidence-based approach, the initiative seeks to multiply impacts across multiple dimensions of child well-being, improving both the efficiency and sustainability of service delivery systems.
