POSITION: Logistic Officer
OPEN TO: All interested Ethiopian Nationals (Female applicants are encouraged)
Terms of Employment: Four Months

1. Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare national and regional target and kit quantification ;
- Prepare procurement plan and timely request PCP kit components for purchase;
- Follow procurement and timely delivery, and report procurement status to chief of party;
- Following products coming from abroad through GIK and purchases through Supply chain management/ MSH/ , facilitate airport cargo and customs clearance;
- Check stock on hand, expiry date & storage condition of products at the central warehouse and control stock card;
- Insuring PCP kit components are ready for packaging, follow packing process and availability of kits for Oromiya, Addis Ababa, Tigray and Dire Dawa regional kit need;
- Follow availability of PCP kit components and readiness in SNNPR and Kemisse PCP warehouse;
- Ensure the logistics function is delivered timely, cost-effective, highest quality and appropriate support; and supporting regional logistics officers in achieving and maintaining minimum standards in logistics work;
- Collect and report stock status of central and regional warehouses every fifteen day to chief of party of the program;
- Accurately maintain the logistic filing systems ensuring rigorous adherence to logistic processes
2. Qualifications Required: BSc in Pharmacy
3. Work Experience and Skill Required:
- Minimum of five years in progressive working experience in similar environment with adequate exposure to USAID projects.
- Training on integrated pharmaceuticals logistic system
- Logistic monitoring and evaluation using a logical framework matrix
- Experience working with an international organization will be an added advantage
