Vanuatu still smiles - one month on after Cyclone Pam

One month on from Cyclone Pam and we look back at the devastating damage, the recovery phase and the beautiful smiles of children we've met as World Vision has worked to respond to the worst Cyclone to ever hit Vanuatu.  

In the past month, World Vision has worked with communities to ensure they have access to essential household items like kitchen utensils, hygiene kits and tarps so the people of Vanuatu can start to rebuild their lives.

Though there is much progress to celebrate after just one month, the recovery period will be mamoth and World Vision is committed to being with the people of Vanuatu, today, tomorrow and for years to come. Just like we have been for the past 34 years.  

And while the recovery process will be long and hard, despite Cyclone Pam, Vanuatu still smiles.
