Women Deliver 2026
Healthy, educated and empowered women and girls are change agents. When women and girls are supported, they become advocates for their rights and the wellbeing of their communities, leading to transformational change. They know the best solutions to the issues they face and build social capital for themselves and for future generations.
World Vision works with civil society organisations, communities, faith leaders and governments to support women and girls as they lead transformative change. We work together to:
- address social norms and policies that negatively impact women and girls;
- strengthen girls and women’s advocacy skills at all stages of life so that they can advocate for their rights
- increase women's and girls' opportunities and quality of life through health, nutrition; water, sanitation and hygiene; livelihoods, and education programmes
About World Vision
World Vision is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by addressing the causes of poverty and injustice.
Inspired by our Christian values, we are dedicated to working with the world’s most vulnerable people, including women and girls who are disproportionately affected by poverty and difficult issues around the world. We serve all people regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender.
