World Vision teams in Nepal are responding to devastating flash floods in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts. Local staff are assessing needs, coordinating with government and humanitarian partners, and providing emergency support to vulnerable children and families affected by the disaster.

Our local staff are on the ground assessing the needs of the most vulnerable children and families, coordinating closely with government authorities, humanitarian agencies, and local partners to support a timely and effective response.

The floods have destroyed homes, livelihoods, roads, and critical infrastructure, leaving thousands of people in need of urgent assistance. Children face increased risks from displacement, food insecurity, interrupted education, and protection concerns.

Our team in Nepal is preparing an initial 90-day response to provide emergency food assistance, shelter support, hygiene supplies, and child protection services, while helping communities begin their recovery.
