It will provide a venue for sharing findings related to the state of youth in Georgia, best practices for addressing youth challenges, and systemic and ground based interventions best suited to address these challenges as well as donor’s support for these efforts.

To ensure a broad participation and discussion of views, World Vision has invited senior government officials from the Georgia's Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, and Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.

In Georgia Youth unemployment in particular remains worryingly high, having surpassed the 30 % mark in 2015.

For this reason, together with the Georgian Government, World Vision provides with the Summit for Youth Conference a venue where these issues can be collaboratively addressed.” said Hans Bedersky World Vision South Caucasus National Director.
