Ameer’s* healing journey through displacement and malnutrition
Reham*, a displaced mother in northeast Syria, discovered her 9-month-old son Ameer* was severely malnourished when WVSR’s mobile clinic screened him using MUAC. Referred to a specialized center, she received free therapeutic food, medicine, and nutrition counselling, helping Ameer gain 1.2 kg in three weeks and regain energy and appetite.
