Tuesday, August 16, 2022

One year after the earthquake that shook the south of Haiti on August 14, 2021 - World Vision continues to work with the families of the survivors in favor of the children, who as of today are still terribly affected by the socio-economic aftermath of last year's earthquake.

The advocacy activities and actions initiated since August 2021, aim primarily to reach out to local authorities, school principals and teachers, religious leaders as well as young people active in their communities to ensure that communities in the departments of Nippes and South, impacted by the earthquake of August 2021, are able to provide a protective environment where children can grow up free from any form of violence threatening their well-being.
