CVA in Urban Settings - World Vision Bangladesh

This case study highlights the successful implementation of World Vision’s Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) approach in Dhaka, Bangladesh, demonstrating how established social accountability frameworks can be adapted to complex urban environments. 

In the densely populated Mirpur neighbourhood, CVA empowered youth and community leaders to engage directly with law enforcement, resulting in child-friendly help desks, improved police-community relations, and national policy shifts. The initiative showcases how participatory governance can enhance service delivery, foster trust, and contribute to safer, more inclusive urban development in megacities like Dhaka.
