World Vision warns of deadly impact of climate change in DR Congo as hundreds of pupils still missing following flood disaster

This press release warns of the impact of climate change and the risk it poses to communities already affected by food insecurity. It is also a call to the humanitarian community to pay particular attention to the harmful consequences of the floods in Kalehe, which killed more than 400 people and left more than 5,000 missing, including hundreds of children from a school in the area. More assistance to the survivors will help to alleviate the difficulties they face on a daily basis.
