“Eljani didn’t speak before. But after receiving speech therapy, he can now say every word,” said his mother, Gerta.

Gerta was worried because her son Eljani wasn't speaking at all. After receiving speech therapy provided by World Vision Albania and the Kia Green Light Project, Eljani's become an expressive young boy who likes to socialise more.

Eljani is from Librazhd, Albania, like Sara, who has also benefitted from our specialised services. Through a combination of speech therapy, developmental therapy, and physiotherapy, 63 children and young people with disabilities in Librazhd are gaining the skills and confidence to become more independent.

Eljani and Sara's journeys are a testament to the power of tailored support to unlock potential, giving children the ability to communicate, learn, and thrive.

The Kia Green Light Project is funded by Kia, with support from World Vision Korea, and implemented by World Vision Albania in partnership with the Municipality of Librazhd. At the Kia Green Light Multipurpose Health Centre, youth volunteers such as Kristos, play an essential role in creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every child can flourish.
