World Vision Albania equips young people with skills for work and knowledge about EU integration

Young people from Durrës, Shijak and Krujë are building digital, professional and career skills to prepare for the labour market and explore opportunities linked to Albania’s EU integration.

'I put the knowledge I gained straight into practice by selling online'

For 17-year-old Kejsiana, gaining digital and information technology skills that match the needs of the labour market has helped her find her place in the world of work.

She is one of hundreds of young people from Durrës, Shijak and Krujë who has developed digital and professional skills, while also learning more about Albania’s EU integration process and the opportunities available to them.

Through a partnership between World Vision Albania and the National Youth Agency, young people have been supported to strengthen their skills and prepare for the labour market and their future.

Through the 'Kodi RINIA – Career Advice, Guidance, Digitalisation and ICT Skills' project:

• 101 young people developed digital and information technology skills aligned with labour market needs, increasing their opportunities for employment and professional development.
• 199 young people gained knowledge about Albania’s EU integration process and support programmes available to them.
• 30 young people joined a youth network focused on cooperation, sharing experiences and personal development.

Young people share how new skills are helping them prepare for work and better understand Albania’s journey towards EU integration.

The Kodi RINIA project was funded by the National Youth Agency and implemented by World Vision Albania.
