From Dependence to Independence: How Pastor Dvuba Turned Skills into a Business

For years, Pastor Dvuba depended on financial support from his church to provide for his family. That changed when he participated in World Vision’s Empowered Worldview sessions, which encouraged him to look within himself and recognise the skills and resources he already had.

During the sessions, Pastor Dvuba was reminded of his basic IT skills and began exploring how he could use them to generate an income. He eventually opened a small print shop, offering services including photocopying, printing and affidavit writing and printing.

Today, his business provides a valuable source of income, helping him meet his family’s needs and giving him greater financial independence.
