Lessons from Africa: tackling FGM

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is a problem the world over. It violates the rights, security and health of women and girls. While researching and writing a paper on the subject, Nell  Williams, Marketing Communications Officer with World Vision UK,  discovered a number of things that we can learn from the success experienced tackling FGM in the developing world. In light of today, the International Day for Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation, Nell's message is a timely and important one.
