Cet article traite du lancement du Programme de Repas Scolaire à Menkao, initié par World Vision RDC le 13 mai 2025. Il s’agit d’une initiative de lutte contre la faim et la malnutrition infantile en République Démocratique du Congo, en particulier dans les milieux scolaires. Le programme vise à offrir quotidiennement un repas équilibré aux élèves, pour améliorer leur santé, leur concentration et leur performance scolaire. Cette action, appuyée par le Programme Alimentaire Mondial et d'autres partenaires, s’inscrit dans une stratégie nationale multisectorielle qui allie nutrition, éducation et développement communautaire.

School Dropout in Angola: An Obstacle to Progress and Development
In Angola, attending school is still a challenge for many children. According to the National Institute of Statistics, in 2022, the dropout rate in primary education reached 11.6% of children who had been enrolled since the beginning of the academic year. The gap between urban and rural areas is even more severe for girls, who face gender-based discrimination and lack of adequate infrastructure to manage their menstrual hygiene.
