“Children on the move” describes all children who have migrated across borders, or have been forcibly displaced across borders (refugees), or within the borders of their own countries (internally displaced). Many of these children have been affected by violence, some by the worst kind imaginable. This report provides a snapshot of what’s possible to end violence against children on the move. Some of the proposed solutions have been tested across multiple contexts, others are more specific to the places they have been applied. Many of them can be replicated and, if scaled up effectively, have a real impact on preventing, mitigating and responding to violence against children.
