A Joyful Day for Children in Myanmar

A happy celebration took place in Thanlyin, Yangon region, on United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child Day. About 800 children from World Vision Myanmar Street & Working Child Project, Myit Tar Young Chi Youth Development Home, and Happy Haven Humanitarian Project took part in the fun at St. Mary’s Home for Girls. The event brought together children from different backgrounds being orphans, poor, homeless and HIV positive and helped them know the importance of friendships, recreation and playing games together.
