Creating a safe environment for children

Children from Shree Bal Lower Secondary School in Jante Village Development Committee (VDC), Udayapur district have benefitted from child protection activities being carried out with the support of World Vision.

At present, teachers and School Management Committee (SMC) members who were trained in child protection are orienting children and monitoring the child protection issues in their school and communities to create a safe environment for children. The training has also helped raise awareness and brought about behaviour change among adults. Child Protection is a key sector in WVI Nepal’s work which contributes to creating and maintaining an environment for the well-being of children.
