Parents provide well for their children

Rohini Shrestha is a World Vision sponsored child. Few years back her mother, Ganga received sewing training with the help of World Vision. After the training, she took loan from the Micro Enterprise Development project of World Vision and bought a sewing machine.

 Nowadays, Ganga stitches for her living and earns well. Her husband is also happy to see her work. “It has been a huge relief for my husband and family since I earn and contribute to paying off expenses at home.” she says. Her older daughter used to go to a government school but with added income Rohini is getting a chance to attend a private school which she enjoys a lot. Rohini is proud of her mother.

 Bhaktapur Area Development Programme (ADP) has provided vocational training to many women like Ganga, helping uplift the economic status of families and providing well for their children.
