Cereal Bank
Habi Issoufa, holding her baby Abdoul, says that last year she was able to feed her children by buying from the cereal bank. She thinks that this year she will be forced to use it even more because the harvest has not been good. She says many people walk to the cereal bank from surrounding villages; but that this is still better than having to walk for one day, or more, to the closest market to buy grain at higher prices.
