There is increasing recognition that the health sector has a vital role to play in ending violence against children. This review assesses alignment between 24 countries' national health policies and the WHO's Global Plan of Action to strengthen the role of the health system within a national multisectoral response to address interpersonal violence, in particular against women and girls, and against children. An in-depth review was done for three countries: Philippines, Rwanda, and Tanzania. World Vision International and the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children collaborated to produce this report.
