Situation Report | Reporting Period: 1 April – 31 May FY26

During the reporting period, World Vision Afghanistan reached 223,734 people through integrated humanitarian and recovery programming across health, nutrition, WASH, food security, livelihoods, protection, education, and emergency response.

155,389 people accessed integrated health, nutrition, and psychosocial support services through 63 service delivery points, including outpatient care, maternal and newborn health, immunisation, nutrition screening and treatment, and community health education.

WASH interventions improved access to safe water and hygiene through a new solar-powered water system, hygiene promotion, community engagement, and sanitation initiatives.

Food security and livelihoods programming supported vulnerable households through agricultural assistance, cash-for-food, cash-for-work, livestock support, and climate-smart farming, while humanitarian assistance continued for returnees and earthquake-affected communities through integrated health, nutrition, WASH, protection, and psychosocial services.
