World Vision International Nepal’s five-year strategy aimed to improve the well-being of 0.8 million children, focusing on the most vulnerable. Through integrated, community-led programmes in education, protection, nutrition, and resilient livelihoods, we exceeded our goal by directly reaching over 1.3 million people, including 789,775 children.
Key achievements include:
- Systemic Change: 27 Child-Friendly Local Governance declarations, 8 Child Marriage-Free zones, and other landmark initiatives.
- Community Empowerment: Strengthened 2,600+ local groups and facilitated inclusive structures for sustainable impact.
- Humanitarian Response: Supported 703,802 people during major emergencies, including earthquakes and floods.
- Infrastructure Development: Delivered 2,312 projects improving education, health, water, sanitation, and livelihoods.
- Resource Mobilisation: Invested NPR 10–10.8 billion (USD 75–80 million) with strong partnerships across Nepal.
