Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Capacity Statement

World Vision’s East Africa Regional Office (EARO), established in 2009, coordinates humanitarian, development, and advocacy work across nine countries, with a strong focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). Building on over 37 years of impact in the region, World Vision has expanded access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services for millions of people, including children. Guided by its Global WASH Business Plan, the organisation works to accelerate equitable access to WASH services, strengthen sustainability, and reach the most vulnerable communities, including those in fragile contexts, through partnerships and innovative financing approaches.
