World Vision Ethiopia Strategy | 2026 -2030
Wednesday, January 21, 2026

World Vision Ethiopia’s 2026–2030 strategy sets out a clear ambition: to impact the lives of 15 million children, one in four children across the country. Grounded in evidence and shaped by the realities children face, the strategy focuses on four interconnected child wellbeing outcomes: improved nutrition, protection from violence, stronger learning and development, and positive relationships within families and communities.

Recognising that children’s lives are shaped by overlapping pressures, the strategy responds with integrated, multi-sectoral approaches that bring together humanitarian response, long-term development, and peacebuilding. Anchored in long-term, place-based programmes and delivered through strong partnerships and localisation, the strategy aims to strengthen families, communities, and systems so that children are nourished, protected, learning, growing up in safe and nurturing environments, and able to thrive in more resilient and peaceful communities.
