FROM THE FLOOR TO THE DESK: TRANSFORMING LEARNING IN RURAL CLASSROOMS
Across schools in Oljoro No. 5, a lack of desks forced students to sit on dusty floors—leading to dirty uniforms, poor handwriting, and frequent illness. With World Vision’s support, 200 desks were delivered to six schools, reaching over 800 students. Now, children sit with dignity, attend regularly, and embrace learning with renewed hope and motivation.

Restoring mothers’ hopes, even in Syria’s most remote villages
In rural Syria, young Ahmad* suffered from malnutrition due to extreme poverty and lack of healthcare. His mother, Shaima*, also showed signs of undernourishment. Through World Vision Syria Response’s nutrition program, both received lifesaving support and recovered. Now, Ahmad is healthy and thriving, giving his family renewed hope.
