His brother's keeper

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

Once living in isolation, and discriminated against because of his disabilities, Samba is now watched over by his big brother, and especially a World Vision programme manager, named Alpha. "Every one of us in the community is grateful for what World Vision has been doing. Since Alpha’s intervention, World Vision has been bringing water and enriched flour to the family. Coumba, Samba’s mom has seen the difference in her child now that she feeds him with the new flour. Samba is now able to stand up and will soon be able to walk on his own." Photo by Nathalie Fauveau.
