First steps of Arta

Arta is a nine-years-old girl. She suffers from cerebral palsy. Arta and her family have been part of the social programme ‘‘Hello…Life’’ for more than two years now. Arta is one of the first children who have benefited from the weekly physiotherapy at home. World Vision has sent us a young woman for the physiotherapy at home; it has supported me with food packages, and provided a bed for my daughter. In order to respect physical distancing rules, Arta has been receiving therapy from the social programme "Hello…Life” in her backyard.

Total of 72 children living in the remote areas of Librazhd, Prrenjas, Dibra and Bulqiza are currently receiving therapy in their backyards. In addition to the therapy in the backyard, the ‘‘Hello…Life’’ programme also continues providing online exercises through video tutorials, to ensure children’s ongoing improvement in accordance with their individual development plans.
