Never before had the city been as quiet as during the COVID-19 pandemic…
Korça IMPACT Club youth groups see as a priority the tourism of the area, the promotion of culture and the economic development of the villages as an opportunity for the development and recovery of the area as well as of the farmers and their families.
If you want to hear cheerful words, listen to serenades, watch the carnivals, enjoy the “Lira” chorus city concert, get involved in conversations with a fine touch of humor and enjoy some delicious food, you should definitely visit Korça, at least once in your lifetime. It's one of the most interesting cities of all, otherwise labeled as “The Cradle of Albanian Culture”.
Art and culture promotion provides youth of Korça and other youth visiting the city with ample opportunities. It should be one of the priorities for developing the area, just like it is now the “Children’s City”. Since the beginning of their learning process, children learn about the First Albanian School (Mësonjëtorja), that is now a museum. In this old two-floor building, with windows, pavement and wooden stairs, was opened the first secular Albanian school in the Albanian language.
