The illness disrupted his studies and ability to support his family. With encouragement from a trained treatment supporter and care provided through World Vision Papua New Guinea and health partners, Ray began treatment and received medical, nutritional, and emotional support. Despite challenges, he remained disciplined and committed to recovery. Gradually, his strength returned, allowing him to resume daily activities. Now nearing full recovery, Ray hopes to return to school and achieve his goals. He encourages others to seek early testing and treatment, sharing that tuberculosis is preventable, treatable, and curable with the right support.
