One in five children dies before their fifth birthday, most of them from preventable diseases and malnutrition. Here, most children are unseen, uncounted and invisible. Many children live on the margins, perhaps their biggest wish is a full meal.
The following photo essay is of a few of the unseen, uncounted and invisible children in Afghanistan. They have drawn their feelings about health situation on paper and hope you will see them.
