The Girl We Were Never Meant to Miss-Blandine’s story of hope and healing
While visiting Rulindo District to document the story of a sponsored child named Bertin, the team discovered another story in his home. They met seven-year-old Blandine, a girl living with a disability who could neither walk nor speak and had been confined to her home for years. Due to lack of resources and hope, her condition remained untreated, and she was largely unseen. The visit shifted focus, and Blandine’s story became the one they carried forward.
