
Spotlight on Adolescent HIV Grant Programming in Uganda and Malawi

There are 1.1 Billion adolescent girls in the world today. Every year, 360,000 adolescent girls and young women are infected with HIV – about 7,000 every week, almost 1,000 every day. AIDS-related deaths among adolescents have increased over the past decade while decreasing among all other age groups. The Global Health, Nutrition and HIV Community of Practice November Discussion focused on Adolescent HIV Grant Programming - lessons learned and best practices from Uganda and Malawi.
