Emergency response to control measles outbreaks in Humbo District

World Vision Ethiopia in collaboration with the district Health Bureau responded to measles outbreak across nine areas in Humbo District. “The organized effort has helped to contain the current outbreak; moreover, it also has enabled us to break harmful cultural practices of hiding measles patients from Health workers. ”  said Asaminew Bergana, Head of  Tebella Health Center.
