Agriculture and Food Security Food Assistance

Antsokia Valley, in Ethiopia's central highlands, is a transformed place, thanks to decades of reforestation, soil and water conservation and effective farming methods. Farmers are producing surplus crops, and children are healthy, in school, and have enough to eat.

In the 30 years since the famine crisis of 1984, World Vision Ethiopia has worked with the communities to make great changes. 

Many people vividly recall surviving 30 years ago, and some of their stories are captured here.
