Term of Employment: 2 years contract
1. Major Responsibilities:
- Provide Service DeskSupport for the staff by documenting, analyzing and troubleshooting for resolution of reported user problems as per the committed Service Level Agreement in professional and courteous manner. Ensuring all support provided is documented in Customer Support & Service desk Management System: Service Now.
- Administer and Support Essential Business Systems including Lotus Notes messaging, partnership applications (e.g. SingleSTEP, Quickstep, SD+, Sponsorship 2.0, Horizon, Sun system), Local Area Network (LAN), the Internet and other communication systems, to ensure availability at all times.
- Install, configure, maintain and support on software, hardware, LAN, Lotus notes mail and databases, and ensure the availability of connectivity to make sure all web based partnership applications are accessible.
- Ensure Information and Data Security of the user data, ICT systems and resources by doing anti-virus installations & regular update, regular critical system backup and enforcing laid down ICT security policies to guarantee business continuity in the unlikely event of an ICT disaster.
- Facilitate ICT skills building for staff to increase their competence in use of partnership applications (Horizon, OurPeople, etc) and ICT productivity tools such Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Lotus Notes, WebEx, Skype, etc.
- Engage with the program staff in the design and implementation of ICT4D projects in ADPs as per ICT project management guidance provided by ICT Manager.
- Support procurement of ICT goods andservices by providing technical specifications & performing acceptance test for such goods and services, and working with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of requested goods and services in consultation with the ICT Manager.
- Ensure the implementation of ICT policies, standards, and procedures at POO and ADP level as per the National and global ICT guidance and Work closely with HO Service Desk Administrator and staffs in infrastructure and Applications team in order to customers support request are address timely and progress are communicated appropriately.
- Engage in the assessment and documentation of IT resources and services to ensure the availability of standardized IT services in the program office and APs. Perform service, preventive, and remedial maintenance on ICT equipment and timely escalation of malfunctioned ICT equipment to HO.
2. Qualifications Required: MSc/MA /BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, and Electrical Engineering.
3. Work Experience and Skill required: 2 – 4 years in hard & software installation, maintenance, networking or related field.
