Children’s Day Celebration in Aileu
World Vision Timor-Leste celebrated Children’s Day in Aileu Municipality on 1 June.
We invited children and families in Aileu to celebrate the day, and focused on why children should be protected and loved. Representatives from government and non-government organisations also joined in the celebrations.
The event began with traditional Timorese dance, and included performances led by talented local children, such as a play, choir, speeches and dance. See below what happened on the day!
